Wind Powered GeneratorsSTARTUP SPEED !
Startup speed
is
CRITICAL !
When you consider a wind power source, what is their start-up speed? It should be LESS than 10 miles per hour.
Get that? LESS than 10 miles per hour startup speed! Less than 4.4704 meters per second! Most three bladed wind turbines that we have checked out were over 20 miles per hour startup speed. When considering the $(price) per MW hour, and our wind power is turning while their's is just sitting there not moving, that can be a very big consideration.
Have you read our full web page with its internal links? There is a huge amount of information there. We explain a lot in those pages. Some of our pages have NASA and Physics links.
KNOW THE FACTS about Wind Power An Introduction to Wind Loads A Battery Bank Comparison
Our wind power generators are designed to start up at LOW wind speeds (less than 10mph). If you paid for a big wind turbine and it is just sitting there doing nothing in a 10mph wind, it could be wasting your money.
Start-up speed is critical. Ours does not have to be installed on top of "Hurricane Mountain" to start turning. Ours is designed for LESS than 10mph startup speed. At low wind speeds, our wind power could be turning while their's is still not even moving.
How can you make money if the blades are not turning?
Before you buy, Always ASK what the START UP speed is.
Always.
